These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and PaRo Technologies regarding your use of PaRoNetSim at https://netsim.parotechnologies.com and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is (and is not)
PaRoNetSim is an independent, browser-based educational simulator for networking and defensive security practice. It provides simulated topologies, vendor-style command interfaces, labs, quizzes, scenarios, and learning aids.
PaRoNetSim is an independent network learning and simulation platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or certified by Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Arista Networks, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Dell Technologies, Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Huawei, F5, Check Point, or any other network vendor. All product names, trademarks, and registered trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Vendor names are used only to identify compatible learning topics, command styles, and simulated device behavior. PaRoNetSim does not include, distribute, emulate, or run proprietary vendor operating system images, firmware, or software. All labs, explanations, command outputs, and simulations are independently created for educational purposes.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or have verifiable consent from a parent, guardian, or educational institution where required, to create an account. If you use the Service on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
4. Accounts and security
Accounts are for individual educational use unless we expressly enable class or organization features for your account. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for activity under your account. Enable multi-factor authentication when available, especially for admin or instructor roles. Notify us promptly at support@paronetsim.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. License to use the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal or classroom educational purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer (except to the limited extent such restriction is prohibited by law), or create derivative works from the Service or its content, except for your own user-created lab documents that you are permitted to export.
6. Intellectual property and copyright
Our IP. The Service—including software, curricula we author, UI, branding, lab scenarios, quizzes, and documentation—is owned by PaRo Technologies or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Your content. You retain ownership of content you create (for example, LabForge topologies). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. If you publish content as public, other users may view it as permitted by the product.
Third-party rights. You must not upload or paste copyrighted materials (vendor manuals, exam dumps, paid courseware, proprietary firmware, or others' content) unless you have the right to do so. You must not use the Service to infringe trademarks or to imply endorsement by any vendor or certification body.
Copyright complaints. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@paronetsim.com with: (a) your contact information; (b) identification of the work and the allegedly infringing material; (c) a statement of good-faith belief; and (d) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act. We may remove or disable access to material as appropriate.
7. Acceptable use
PaRoNetSim teaches networking and defensive security concepts in a simulated environment only. Do not use it to attempt unauthorized access, attacks, or evasion against real systems.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt unauthorized access to real systems, networks, or data; the Cyber Range and labs are simulated only
- Probe, scan, or attack the Service infrastructure except through coordinated vulnerability disclosure we expressly authorize
- Interfere with, overload, scrape, or disrupt the Service or other users
- Share accounts in a way that bypasses seat or license limits
- Upload malware, or attempt to extract secrets or other users' data
- Misrepresent affiliation with PaRoNetSim or any vendor
- Use AI features to generate or distribute exam dumps or copyrighted materials
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. AI assistant
The AI assistant is a learning aid for a simulated environment. It can be wrong, does not provide legal, medical, or financial advice, and is not a substitute for official vendor training, certification requirements, or a qualified instructor.
AI features may send prompts to third-party providers. You are responsible for what you submit. We do not warrant AI accuracy, completeness, or fitness for certification or production network decisions.
9. Beta, changes, and availability
Features may change, break, or be withdrawn. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service. We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Progress data may be affected by updates; keep your own notes for critical learning records when needed.
10. Subscriptions and payments
If paid plans are offered, prices, billing intervals, and refund rules will be shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party processors. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, fees are non-refundable. Failure to pay may result in loss of paid features.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SIMULATIONS MATCH REAL EQUIPMENT, THAT YOU WILL PASS ANY EXAM, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE SECURE, TIMELY, OR FREE OF ERRORS.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PaRo Technologies AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify PaRo Technologies against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, risk to the Service or other users, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive termination.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes shall be the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
